To set up a well co-coordinated and sustainable regional programme to train SEAZA personnel in all aspects of zoo biology and zoo management to ensure the development and maintenance of quality and professional standards in all member zoos.
- Engage SEAZA members to participate in training programme
- Inform SEAZA members on current zoo philosophy and animal husbandry
- Empower SEAZA members to organise their own training programmes
- Make the training standing committee redundant
